Saw this movie today, basically after reading about it here, and then checking out the trailer on You Tube.
Fantastic, so beautiful and poignant I teared up in spots. Will take its place next to Tailchaser's Song and Stray as the very best of cat-related art for this feline-lover
Do see what you say about the animation though. Beautiful when it pulls back but maybe a little janky up close?
Oh I’m so glad you saw and liked it. The capybara’s fur in particular seemed pretty pixel-y to me — and that was watching a screener at home. I imagine it was even more noticeable on the big screen. Still, I’m pretty forgiving because we don’t get enough “indie” animation in theaters these days. Thanks for reading!
Loved it too Rob!
I'm not a cartoon fan yet found it wondrous.
Oh! this sounds wonderful. Thanks for posting about it.
